Dana Zakarian Chosen for New Leadership Role with the American Board of Trial Advocates

Smith Duggan Cornell & Gollub partner Dana A. Zakarian has been elected treasurer of the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).

The organization is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which guarantees the right to civil jury trials.

ABOTA is also devoted to elevating the standards of skill, integrity, civility, and honor within the legal profession. Applicants must have tried at least ten civil cases to verdict and demonstrate the highest ethical and professional conduct. Membership is by invitation only.

Dana Zakarian is a seasoned trial lawyer. He focuses on business litigation, employment law, trade secrets, unfair and deceptive trade practices, construction, antitrust, and personal injury. Dana has obtained significant victories for clients, both prosecuting and defending these claims.
