Law firms Smith Duggan Buell & Rufo LLP and Cornell & Gollub have combined practices, the firms have announced.

The new firm — known as Smith Duggan Cornell & Gollub LLP — has offices in downtown Boston and Lincoln.

The 21-lawyer firm will focus on litigation; commercial transactions; product liability; aviation; insurance coverage; real estate, constitutional, travel, health care and family law; trusts and estates; and other areas of civil practice.

The combined firm brings together lawyers Christopher A. Duggan, Peter M. Durney, Barbara Hayes Buell, Rodney E. Gould, Paul Alan Rufo, Andrew P. Stempler, Matthew J. Walko, Dana A.
