Defense Verdict In $5M Construction Case

Partner Gerard A. Butler, Jr. obtained a defense verdict and judgment in favor of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority after a jury trial, defeating a real estate developer’s claim that sought more that $5 million in damages for an alleged breach of contract arising out of the construction of the Greenbush Line. The jury agreed that Gerard’s client was entitled to a defense judgment on all eleven claims. King Taylor Cohasset LLC v.
