Smith Duggan Obtains Court Victory for Apple, Inc.

Partner Gerard A. Butler, Jr. at Smith Duggan successfully defended Apple, Inc. against a lawsuit that sought to prevent Apple from constructing its new retail store in the Back Bay of Boston. After Gerard’s advocacy secured the Court’s order that defeated the plaintiff’s preliminary injunction motion, Gerard negotiated a dismissal of the case without any payment from Apple to the plaintiff. Atlantic Graphics, LLC v.
